The history of waxed canvas dates back to Scottish mills that wove for theBritish clipper fleet. The process stayed relatively the same over the years until the early 1900s. The canvas forthis head cover isnot coated with wax, but impregnatedwith wax. This ensures that the wax remains inside the fabric. Similar to our leather items, the waxed canvas will patinaovertime, making it a completely unique item.
